The GovGuam Symantec Anti Virus Agreement allows all Government of Guam (GovGuam) branches and agencies to acquire Anti Virus Licenses at reduced prices. GovGuam currently has a license for up to 2500 computers over the next three (3) years ending September 30, 2010. This license was procured by the Bureau of Information Technology under the Office of the Governor.

This number (2500) was based on a survey that was conducted in November 2006. The agency breakdown is as follows:

Grand Total

                  2,500

These numbers have likely changed as of February 2008 so there will be provisions for agencies to procure additional licenses as needed.

GovGuam agencies on the list above automatically qualify for the number of licenses indicated.  If your agency is not included in the list above, your computer count was estimated and placed under the “other agencies” category because we did not receive a response to the survey conducted. Requests for licenses by unlisted agencies will be accommodated on a first-come-first-served basis.
